The rift was that I thought they were kinda boring characters who didn’t have anything substantial to bring to Kim’s stories. I originally created them basically as visual filler and they never really developed much beyond that. Characters like D.H. Ron, Vonnie and Balthazar were actually written with Kim in mind, and they’re much better suited for those types of tales.
