If I may be so bold as to ask, dear stranger on the internet, what did you do for a living prior to working on Dresden Codak full-time? What made you decide to make the switch?

I was working a string of office jobs, mostly having to do with web design. Very boring stuff. It wasn’t so much a decision to make the switch as it was finally reaching a level of comic success that allowed me to do it full-time.
Really, as soon as I started doing Dresden Codak for about a year I knew I wanted to try to do this FOREVER.
