Emerald City Comicon this weekend! March 30-April...
Hey Seattle people! I’ll be at Emerald City Comicon Friday, Saturday and Sunday doing my thing. You should come by! We’ll have the new Department of Awareness Posters, The internationally acclaimed Dresden Codak Primer, And tons of other goodies! I’ll also be drawing dinosaurs! Come to the Topatoco table (booth 202/203) where we’ll be jamming all weekend.
abhorsenaube asked: as far as augmentation goes would you consider it for yourself? You're clearly a Trans-humanist considering your story and personal comments on technological advances.
shindart asked: In regards to the question about shipping, are you ever bothered by the knowledge that somewhere out there, there is most likely erotic fanfic of your comics? Or do you just ignore it as hard as you can?
myleakingbrain asked: I was introduced to DC by a friend who said "It is quite possibly the greatest comic art I have ever seen" and I must say that I completely agree. The artwork is fantastic! I really appreciate all the effort that went into this (I dabble in art, sometimes). Aside from the truly spectacular artwork, the science in the comic draws me as well (pun intended). Will we get to hear more about...
notbecker asked: I'm not sure if this has already been answered and I just haven't seen it, but the boy from Lantern Season? Will we ever/or have we already found out who he is?
tempfolder asked: Is there a connection between the story of Kim and Nephilopolis and the Auroville town in India?
eatoncrow-deactivated20120516 asked: Wasn't there an earlier walkthrough of your comics process? One that showed you lettering, too? Or am I hallucinating memories here
princess-showdown-deactivated20 asked: Lately my friends and I have been shipping Kim and Vonnie. We're completely aware that this has never even been hinted to at any point in the storyline. We just think they'd be an adorable couple. So what we want to know is, do either Kim or Vonnie have any interest in dating women, and will there ever be any fuel for our ship? We'll continue shipping them no matter how you answer...
17threasonforfallingoutofthesky asked: Let's talk literature Mr.Diaz, specifically sci-fi literature (you know, the sci-fi with actual sci and a little less fi). What's your favourite science-fiction work? What are your thoughts on the Asimov and Silverberg's "Positronic Man"? Better/worse/indifferent to Asimov's "Bicentennial Man" short story?

chrishanel: Do you support webcomics? Take this one question survey: 1. Do you take the RSS feed of over 90 webcomics, rip the images, put them in your Android app, and then put your own advertisements next to them in order to make money? Congratulations: If you said “Yes”, then NO, YOU DO NOT SUPPORT…
Dresden Codak #17 - Revisitations
Caspar appears! What’s she all about? Tune in next time! I’ve got some new posters in the store based on the ones seen around Nephilopolis. You might like them! I’ve also added my appearances this year. Next up will be Vericon at Harvard next weekend, and after that I’ll be headed to Seattle again for Emerald City Comicon! And yes, I will be drawing people dinosaurs.
plus1jeremy asked: Do you work in Photoshop? How do you handle perspective? I tried drawing a comic for about a year, but could never find a good solution for perspective guides outside of shelling out the money for Manga Studio.
bemused-geek-nz asked: The more I look at what you have already published about Nephilopolis, the less I want to live there. It's like an immense Panopticon or maybe Coketown crossbred with Facebook - except that it seems to have no obvious purpose except to exist! Will we ever learn a) what the mysterious beings who currently have Kimiko's bag are, and b) who or what runs Bartertown - I mean, Nephilopolis?

pygbrothers asked: Hi, Aaron, I know you have shown some images depicting your process in the past, but would you ever considering releasing a downloadable brush pack for fans to try out the set and parameters you use? Or, perhaps, detail the parameters within a short tutorial-type graphic? Do you use a different brush for your line work than your colors? Thanks~
